Finding Sources
  • if you've been given any textbooks or teaching cds, obviously you should start with them.
  • if you're teaching a specific program, check the help section to see if it has a tutorial.
  • go to the search engine of your choice and look for free tutorials.
  • then look for course outlines from colleges or IT schools
  • go to Amazon.com, find some books that look appropriate, and look at their table of contents (they provide these as images, so those of you on dialup will probably want to skip it)
  • check the local library. If there's time to get books through Interlibrary Loan, be sure to get the info for anything that looks interesting on Amazon.
