Two years after "Cooper" was taken in a home robbery he was found by the Ottawa Humane Society and traced by his ear tattoo (PAW 5R). A story about this reunion is on page D5 of Monday's (Sept17/07) Ottawa Citizen.

Hi, my name is Blair, I have lost my Brittany Spaniel, his name is Calvin. He went missing Dec.31.2005 north of Huntsville in Kearney. I know it's far away from where you are but he could be anywhere. He is micro chipped and tattooed in his ear. His microchip number is 137238171A and his tattoo is XJW 39N. He is 2 years old and is neutered. He is a medium size dog around 42lbs. He was wearing a red merry christmas collar.

Description:
Butch has been part of our family for 13 years and has been missing since October 14, 2006. He was last seen October 14 at Morgans Rd. & the 401 in Newcastle. Butch is a black collie cross. He is NOT wearing a collar. He is very friendly, but might be spooked and may not come when you call him. We are new to Newcastle so he is not familiar with the area.
