Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada…. Qu’est-ce
que c’est?
« Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada » est une association
de prêtres catholiques canadiens et de laïcs qui désirent
de façon toute spéciale promouvoir et défendre le
caractère sacré de la vie humaine. Il n’est pas demandé
au « Prêtre Pro-Vie » de quitter son diocèse,
son Ordre religieux ou son Ministère.
BUT ISN’T EVERY PRIEST ‘FOR LIFE’?
Yes, in fact, every person is called to stand for life. ‘Priest for
Life’ means that being ‘for life’ is ESSENTIAL to the life of EVERY priest.
(Just like, while every priest is for Jesus, there is also a Society of
Jesus.)
Pourquoi y a-t-il autant de laïcs engagés
dans « Prêtres Pro-Vie »?
Des laïcs prêtent leur soutien aux opérations de «
Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada ». Il est également important
pour les laïcs catholiques de s’engager dans les questions Pro-Vie.
La plupart des informations distribuées par « Prêtres
Pro-Vie Canada » sont préparées ou directement approuvées
par des prêtres.
Quel est alors le but de « Prêtres
Pro-Vie Canada »?
« Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada » rassemble et encourage
les prêtres et tous les catholiques à lutter contre
la culture de mort et en particulier contre l’avortement et l’euthanasie.
“Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada » vise également à
s’inscrire dans la
« Culture de Vie » croissante qui regroupe des membres du clergé
catholique de toutes les parties du monde cherchant à défendre
la vie de la conception à la mort naturelle.?
Quels sont les objectifs spécifiques
de « Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada »?

Unir les prêtres engagés de manière active dans le
mouvement Pro-Vie à travers le Canada;

Aider tous les prêtres à parler ouvertement et à agir
contre l’avortement et l’euthanasie;

Distribuer la publication « Prêtres Pro-Vie Canada
», une aide pratique pour prêcher et agir;

Fournir une base de réflexion aux prêtres pour rédiger
leurs homélies, des feuillets pour les bulletins, des cassettes
et d’autres ressources pour la vie;

Fournir aux groupes laïcs pour la vie un lien efficace avec le clergé;

Dans certaines régions, les membres de « Prêtres Pro-Vie
Canada » se réunissent régulièrement en petits
groupes pour prier et partager leurs idées sur des questions pour
la vie.
How Do I Join Priests for Life, Canada?
Priests for Life, Canada is a pro-life association of priests, deacons
and lay people. Priests for Life, Canada operates with a special emphasis
to unite clergy and all catholics in the defense of life while working
closely with other respect life organizations. Members benefit from contact
with others throughout Canada who have a similar commitment and much experience.
We encourage all priests, deacons, seminarians, and lay
people to become members of Priests for Life, Canada. An annual membership
of only $15 entitles you to receive regular mailings and updates from Priests
for Life, Canada. Please send your membership fee of $15 plus any additional
donations to:
