The Women's Sexual Assault Centre of Renfrew County
is a feminist community-based volunteer women's organization.
As a trained volunteer and Centre member, you will
have the opportunity to:
- Gain new knowledge
- Gain new skills
- Enhance existing skills
- Support women who have survived sexual violence
- Celebrate
- Be celebrated
As a trained volunteer you have an opportunity to:
- Support women on our support and crisis line
- Participate in meetings and presentations in our
communities
- Help organize and participate in the annual Take
Back the Night March
- Provide administrative support within our centre
- Participate in local networking
- Make a difference in your community!
