William L. WhippleBill Whipple is a Networking and Internet consultant living and working in the Kansas City metropolitan area. A Southern California native, Bill has spent 20 years working as a programmer, systems analyst, data processing manager, and networking specialist.In 1994 Bill became involved full time with the Internet as the director of technology development for GrapeVine Interactive, an Internet Service Providership and multimedia services company. Bill has worked with hundreds of businesses, helping them develop and deploy Internet applications and connectivity projects. He specializes in Microsoft Windows NT installations but also works with various flavors of UNIX. Bill has lived and worked in San Diego and Los Angeles, California; Houston, Texas; and Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas. In addition to his work with computers and networking systems, Bill spends many hours with his wife of 18 years, Anita, and his four children volunteering as a Girl Scout Rappel Master and Horse Back Riding Instructor.
Sharla RieadSharla Riead is a systems and process design specialist living and working in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Sharla has spent seventeen years working as a programmer, systems analyst, major projects team lead, systems and process design manager, and accounting systems specialist.Sharla’s experience revolves around bringing businesses into the computer age. She has led the efforts to fully automate major corporations including the design and development of systems, business processes, test plans, training, and implementation. Sharla currently works for Sprint as Manager, Finance Reengineering, responsible for working with a team to completely reengineer Sprint’s finance processes and systems. She telecommutes to work as part of a pilot program for Sprint. Sharla is also President of Riead Resources, a systems and process design consulting company. Sharla and her husband of seventeen years, Ken, are currently working on building “The Replete Residence” an alternate energy and environmental demonstration home. She also enjoys spending time with her two daughters and being a Girl Scout leader.
